No beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart.
We are so happy Anna and Jacob are officially married! While we finish up their wedding album, we wanted to share her gorgeous bridal session! We spent a spring afternoon with her at the Botanical Gardens. We found some lovely little nooks with flowers and gorgeous sunlight. Anna was beaming and her dress was spectacular!
We could not be more excited to finally share these images! Congratulations again Mrs. Abel!

We had the wonderful opportunity of working with some extremely talented vendors. The following shoot depicts alternative looks inspired by gorgeous florals and bold colors.
When we first met Haley, we knew instantly that she was going to be a gorgeous bride! Her sweet, loving spirit truly radiates from the inside out. Not to mention, she has the bluest eyes we’ve ever seen. EVER. Haley fell in love with her Stella York dress from Lady in Lace. She was so excited that she sent us photos of her dress immediately after her appointment! We loved getting a front row seat in watching her vision unfold.
Haley’s love for bright greens and florals inspired her bridal session. Springville, AL offered the perfect blend of rural scenery and beautiful open spaces. I mean we were nearly tripping over ourselves in excitement. We also shot this session primarily in film…and we died of happiness when we saw the end results.
This sweet spirit radiated throughout her entire session. We loved being a part in such a big milestone in a senior’s life. Megan, we wish the absolute best for you in your upcoming new chapter. Congratulations and happy graduation in the spring!!
“I wonder sometimes if fog is just the clouds that could not stand to be away from the earth any longer. Just the ones that were too tired to float any more, and wanted to feel soil once again.” – Tyler Knott Gregson
All the lovely things. At the beginning of fall, Dakota Austin from Dakota Chasity Photography and I collaborated on a little dream shoot. We were inspired mostly by nature and highlighting the beauty of rainy/foggy mornings. Our model, Rachel, was stunning and her deep red hair complimented our aesthetic PERFECTLY. It was an early day for us all as we chased the sunrise for the right lighting. Even though it rained the entire shoot, the wet surroundings brought out the most beautiful, deep colors. I made the head crown the night before, sending photos to Dakota as it progressed…and I think it turned out great! I really loved this shoot and getting to experiment a lot more with technique and style has been so refreshing. It was wonderful getting to work with Dakota’s and Rachel’s sweet spirits. xoxo- Laura
“Love is the voice under all silences,
the hope which has no opposite in fear;
the strength so strong
mere force is feebleness:
the truth more first than sun,
more last than star…”
Jeremy and Sarah met in a small town outside of Birmingham, AL and fell in love in high school. They exchanged vows this past July. We just love stories like theirs and we adored getting to capture it. Sarah loves the vivid, warm colors of the fall and wanted a location that reflected autumn. Morgan Creek Winery was the perfect location for Jeremy and Sarah’s style. Morgan Creek is a sweet little vineyard tucked away in Harpersville, AL. The leaves had just changed on the vines and the muscadine grapes smelled amazing. We spent the afternoon weaving in and out of the rows as Sarah and Jeremy walked hand-in-hand. Congratulations on your new journey together, Jeremy & Sarah. May your days be filled with light and love.
I first met Bethany through a ministry for young women when I was in college. Ever since then, we have gotten to walk through huge moments in our lives together. Her sweet and sassy spirit just makes my heart adore her more and more.
This session was unlike any session I have ever shot before! Not only was Bethany absolutely breath-taking, but her mom came along for some portraits with her daughter. Their relationship is one most women will never experience in their lifetime. I love the bond between Bethany and her mother. I am honored that I was able to take a few more photos of them together to remember Bethany’s wedding day. Congratulations my dear friend, and I am so very blessed by you. xoxo – L.
Stacey was such an incredibly beautiful bride and her bridal session is among our favorites this year! Stacey is originally from Dothan, AL and cherished the thought of finding a gorgeous setting for her session. Shorter Mansion in Eufala, AL is beyond breath-taking and the history behind the historic home is just as fasinating. I, Laura, had the priveledge of journeying to Eufala to photograph Stacey and her spectatular choice of a location. I loved not only shooting at the Shorter Mansion but learning about its past! If you’re ever in the small town of Eufala, you must stop by!
