“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I’d hoped to give you forever.” – Nicholas Sparks
Chris and Emily actually met on their first date! Don’t you just love that? Emily’s brother-in-law worked with Chris and mentioned Emily to him. Chris asked Emily on a blind date and they clicked! We get chills thinking about all of the moments that were required just for them to meet. We love when two people come together through a chance meeting.
Chris and Emily love the outdoors. Most of their free time is spent outside. We asked them to describe their perfect Saturday together and their response was precious.
“We enjoy our Saturdays most when there is nice weather and we are outside. We enjoy shooting, handguns or skeet shooting. In the fall we enjoyed Saturday’s at his parent’s house watching football. Other times, we enjoy our Saturday’s camping with her parents and cuddling in the hammock.”
So when they wanted to have an engagement session, they wanted to include their love for the woods. Moss Rock Preserve was the PERFECT location with its gorgeous scenery and mix of “small town” charm. Emily also included a family quilt. Her great-grandmother started the quilt and passed in the process of making it. Her grandmother then finished the quilt in honor of Emily’s great-grandmother. What a sweet memory!
Congratulations Chris and Emily! We can’t wait to share your October wedding with you!
